Turkmenistan’s President Pardons 356 Citizens

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed during regular online government meeting on Friday a decree pardoning 356 citizens convicted of crimes on the occasion of the Holy Night of Gadyr Gijesi.

According to Turkmenistan's official media, Chairman of the Commission Begench Gundogdyyev was tasked with working jointly with law enforcement officials to release the convicts from detention and return them to their families as soon as possible.

During the meeting of the heads of regions, districts, and cities, as well as other leaders, instructions were given to take appropriate measures for the employment of the pardoned individuals.

President of Turkmenistan wished the pardoned citizens to work conscientiously and inspiringly, to engage in the country's extensive transformations, to sincerely serve Turkmenistan, and to live, rejoicing in the fruits of their labor.

The regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, several priority issues of state affairs were discussed.
