Turkmenistan's President Presents Cash Awards, Cars to International Olympiad Winners

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Monday took part in a ceremonial presentation of cash awards and valuable prizes held at the Martial Arts Center in Ashgabat, the Watan habarlary news program reported.

Awards were presented to school pupils and university students who placed in international academic olympiads, as well as to their teachers. Cash incentives were also granted to Turkmen athletes who won or placed in international competitions, along with the coaches who prepared them for performances on the international stage.

Under the established procedure, third-place winners received cash awards of 40,000 manats, second-place winners 70,000 manats, and first-place winners 100,000 manats.

Winners of international sports tournaments who captured gold medals were additionally awarded Toyota Camry passenger cars, model year 2025.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants expressed gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for continued attention to the development of sports and support for youth.
