Turkmenistan's President Publishes Book on Culture of Anau

During an online government session on Saturday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced the completion of a book titled "Änew müňýyllyklardan gözbaş alýan medeniýet," written on the occasion of the proclamation of Anau city as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024.

As reported by official Turkmen media, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the fertile land of Turkmenistan is renowned for its rich history. He highlighted the groundbreaking discoveries made in Turkmenistan by world-renowned archaeologists such as V. Masson, R. Pumpelly, and V. Sarianidi, which confirm the great heritage of the Turkmen people.

The Head of State underscored the collaboration of the Chariman of Halk Maslahaty, the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with these archaeologists and their descendants, including the organization of archaeological expeditions across the country, and overall support for their research.

It was noted that the information gathered by the National Leader from historical sources contributed to the creation of the new book.

During the Cabinet of Ministers meeting, participants warmly congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the publication of the book "Änew müňýyllyklardan gözbaş alýan medeniýet."

The government session also discussed matters concerning the country's priority state affairs.
