Turkmenistan’s Rysgal Bank Introduces Overdraft Service

Rysgal Joint-Stock Commercial Bank offers its customers a new bank card called Owerdraft (Overdraft) karty, which allows bank card holders to receive a short-term loan in the amount of 50% of the monthly salary.

According to Rysgal newspaper’s Monday issue, the loan term is calculated at the rate of 12% per annum for up to 6 months.

Upon receipt of funds to the bank's client's salary on the card, the loan is returned in the prescribed manner. The return of the loan during the validity period of the agreement allows to use the loan again without drawing up an additional agreement.

Rysgal Bank also actively works on the development of cashless payments in Turkmenistan. To this end, the Bank was the first in the country to launch an internet banking system and unveiled a QR code payments system.
