Turkmenistan sends another batch of humanitarian aid to Türkiye

Today, 1500 warm winter blankets and 10 generators were sent from the capital of Turkmenistan to the earthquake-affected areas of Türkiye. This was announced by Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral on his Twitter page.

“I want to express my gratitude to Turkish companies in Turkmenistan, their employees, our citizens, as well as the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan for the donation of 1500 blankets and 10 generators, which we sent on today’s THY flight to the areas affected by the earthquake”, - the diplomat wrote.

On February 14, the Turkish embassy in Ashgabat initiated a campaign to collect aid for the victims of the earthquakes with epicenters in Kahramanmarash.

According to the “Anadolu” Agency, assistance can be provided until February 17.

On Monday, February 6, two earthquakes with a magnitude of more than seven points occurred in the southeast of Türkiye. The death toll from the devastating earthquake in southeastern Türkiye has exceeded 35,4 thousand people.
