Turkmenistan sends medications to earthquake affected Iran

President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov has instructed to supply humanitarian aid to Iran, according to the state information agency TDH.

The Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry were ordered to supply medications to Iran pro bono as humanitarian aid.

On 12 November 2017 an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 occurred on the Iran-Iraq border, in Kermanshah Province at 9:49 p.m. local time.

At least 540 people were reported to have died and more than 7,890 others were injured.
