Turkmenistan took its citizens out of Turkey on a charter flight

Today, the Boeing 777-200LR aircraft of Turkmenistan Airlines performed a charter flight Istanbul-Turkmenabat, which delivered 250 Turkmen citizens from Turkey to their homeland.

Charter flight T53902 from Istanbul was organized on behalf of the government of Turkmenistan.

All returning citizens will be required to undergo mandatory quarantine for 21 days.

As a reminder, regular flights between Turkmenistan and Turkey were suspended in March 2020 due to a global pandemic. Along with the Turkmen airline, special flights to Turkmenistan are carried out by Turkish Airlines and the Russian Siberia Airlines.

Turkmenistan continues to work to ensure the safety of its citizens who are abroad, organizing their export to their homeland.
