Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Chinar Rustemova took part in the 10th interregional meeting of the National Commissions for UNESCO.
The meeting was held on Monday within the framework of the 42nd session of the General Conference in Paris at UNESCO headquarters.
The meeting was attended by deputy directors general, heads of relevant departments and representatives at the level of executive secretaries of national commissions for UNESCO.
The participants paid special attention to the consideration of reports, analysis of bilateral and multilateral initiatives, as well as issues of improving the practice of interaction between regional structures and UNESCO National Commissions.
The latest interregional meeting demonstrated the strong commitment of the National Commissions for UNESCO to contribute to the ongoing process of implementing the UNESCO Medium-Term Strategy for 2022-2029 and the budget for 2026-2029.
