Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan on April 6, 2026, official Turkmen media reported.
During the call, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Particular attention was given to cooperation between Turkmenistan and Türkiye within international organizations, as well as major international forums and meetings.
Earlier, Turkmenistan and Türkiye discussed creating new opportunities for business and expanding trade and economic cooperation.
