In May, the Days of Cinema of Uzbekistan are scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan. This issue was discussed during the meeting of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Yazguly Mammadov and the Deputy Director of the Cinematography Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Rizaev.
When considering the issues of organizing a cultural event, the Uzbek side expressed its desire to hold the Days of Uzbek Cinema both in Ashgabat and in the velayat centers of Turkmenistan bordering Uzbekistan. The possibility of participation in the events of Uzbek filmmakers and famous artists was considered.
Days of cinema of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan are scheduled for September - during the 15th Tashkent Film Festival.
