The next competition of innovative projects “Digital Solution 2022” will be held in Turkmenistan. This decision was made today at a meeting of the Cabinet Ministers, announced the “Watan” TV news program of Turkmenistan.
The first competition of innovative projects in Turkmenistan was held in 2020 in order to stimulate young people, involved in software development and innovation.
This year, according to the Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammethan Chakiyev, it is planned to be held in accordance with the tasks set in the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy, the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in the country for 2021-2025, to identify and encouraging young people, involved in the development and implementation of innovative software, start-ups.
It is assumed that the competition will be held in such categories as healthcare, science and education, transport and logistics, electronic industry, agriculture, and services.
Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan is currently carrying out program work on the digitalization of all spheres of the national economy, the introduction of scientific developments into production, which is of particular importance in modernizing the activities of the sectors of the national economy in accordance with the requirements of the time.
Focusing on the need to study advanced foreign experience, the President of Turkmenistan approved the proposal to hold a competition of innovative projects “Digital Solution 2022”, emphasizing the importance of this review for identifying talented youth - the future of the Motherland, and addressed the head of the Agency with specific instructions.
