Artists of the team of national equestrian games “Galkynysh” from Turkmenistan will take part in the International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo. This was reported by the press service of the Organizing Committee of the festival.
Prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Monte Carlo Festival were discussed during the meeting between the head of the “Galkynysh” group Pygy Bayramdurdyev, the director of the Turkmen State Circus Serdar Gurbangulyev and the President of the Monte Carlo Festival Urs Pils.
During the meeting, Urs Pils invited Turkmen artists to take part in the 47th Monte Carlo International Circus Festival, which will be held in January 2025.
According to the head of the International Circus Festival, the Turkmens are one of the best dzhigits artists in the world, and the participation of the “Galkynysh” group in the Monte Carlo festival will be evidence of the recognized mastery of Turkmen circus art in the international arena.
Urs Pils also added that he was looking forward to presenting the unique Ahal-Teke horses at the Monte Carlo festival.
It should be noted that the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival, founded in 1974 by Prince Rainier III, is held in January of each year.
