Turkmenistan will take part in the Turkic Week in Geneva

Representatives of Turkmenistan will take part in the events of the Turkic Week, which will be held in Geneva from April 22 to 25.

The cultural program of Turkic Week includes various events aimed at introducing Turkic culture and art, as well as Turkic cooperation organizations and the work carried out by these organizations, including thematic panels, painting and photography exhibitions and a gala concert with the participation of Turkic artistic groups peace. This was reported on the TURKSOY website.

As the Secretary General of TURKSOY Sultan Raev said, during the Turkic Week, the best examples of creativity, elegance and tolerance of the peoples of the Turkic world will be presented to the attention of art lovers.

“TURKSOY has prepared two exhibitions and a special gala concert. In addition, we will present to art lovers unique works by artists of the Turkic world on the themes “Woman in the Turkic World”, “Silk Road” and “Magtymguly Fragi”, the 300th anniversary of which we are celebrating this year”, - Raev noted.

According to the Secretary General, 30 artists from 7 countries will take part in the Gala Concert of the Week: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia, Russian Federation).

The events will be organized by the United Nations Office in Geneva, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Geneva Conservatory in collaboration with TURKSOY, the Organization of Turkic States, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the International Turkic Academy and the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries.
