Turkmenistan will take part in the Women's World Boxing Championship for the first time

An athlete from Turkmenistan Gulzada Jorakuliyeva will take part in the Women's World Boxing Championship. The tournament will be held from 14 to 26 March in New Delhi (India).

According to Salam, the representative of Turkmenistan qualified for the women's world boxing championship for the first time in history. Jorakuliyeva will perform in the weight category up to 66 kg.

The team also included two men: coach Timur Jumakulov and referee Ishanguly Meretniyazov.

The report notes that Jorakuliyeva previously represented the interests of the national team in international kickboxing competitions.
