President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at online cabinet meeting on Friday signed the Resolutions “On the construction of a complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering” and “On the construction of a new additional educational building, a hostel, a sports facility on the adjacent territory of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan and a monument on the ring road”, the country’s official media reports.
According to the document, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is authorized to conclude a contract with the Ajaýyp-Gurluşyk Individual Enterprise for the design and construction of a complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering for 5,000 students along Gorogly Street in Ashgabat with modern equipment and landscaping of the surrounding area.
In addition, the Ministry of Energy is authorized to conclude a contract with the Röwşen Individual Enterprise for the design and construction of a new additional educational building for 2,000 students on the adjacent territory of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, a hostel for 800 students, an indoor sports facility and a monument on a circular road, with modern equipment and landscaping of the adjacent territory.
The document provides for the start of construction works of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering building complex in September 2023 and its completion in September 2026. The construction works at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan will begin in September 2023 and complete in September 2025.
On the eve of the new academic year, on September 1 of this year, it is planned to put into operation several new educational institutions.These include 13 kindergartens, 19 secondary schools and educational complexes.
The following educational institutions will be put into operation in the city of Arkadag: Pedagogical Secondary Vocational School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev, Medical Secondary Vocational School named after Sachly Dursunova, Specialized School of Arts named after Sahy Jepbarov, Children's School of Arts named after Shukur Bahshi and International Horse Breeding Academy named after Aba Annayev.
