UAE Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmed Al-Hameli held a series of meetings with representatives of Turkmen business and the sports sector to discuss prospects for cooperation, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Turkmenistan reported on Tuesday.
In particular, the diplomat met with the head of the Turkmen company Hayran, which operates in the trade sector. During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities to develop cooperation in trade and expand business contacts.
The ambassador also held a meeting with the sports director of the Karakum football club in Ashgabat. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the sports sector and possible areas for further interaction.
Following the meetings, the sides expressed interest in further developing partnership ties and strengthening contacts between representatives of Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates in various fields.
