UFC signed an agreement to distribute its content in the CIS

Sports organization Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has signed a cooperation agreement with media holding Saran Media Group, reports Sport24.

The parties agreed on a long-term agreement on the distribution of content in the CIS, including Turkmenistan. As part of the partnership, the UFC is expanding its partnership with Saran Media Group, which already has rights to distribute UFC content in Iceland, Romania and Turkey.

The contract with Saran Media Group includes exclusive rights to broadcast all UFC events and related content, including highlights and commercials. The content will be distributed by Saran Media Group on television, OTT technology, online platforms and mobile devices throughout the CIS countries.

Saran Media International Limited was incorporated in Malta in 2013. Saran Media is part of the Turkish media holding Saran Group.

According to information on the official website of Saran Group, the company has the rights to broadcast not only the UFC, but also the World Football Championships, the UEFA Champions League, Asian Football Confederation tournaments, Wimbledon tournament, Euroleague Basketball, NBA, “Formula 1” and other competitions.
