UNDP international expert on business registers visits Turkmenistan again

From April 24 to 25, Mihail Kuzin, UNDP International Expert on Business Registers, visited Turkmenistan. This was the second visit of an expert to Ashgabat within the framework of the joint project of UNDP and the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics “Strengthening the institutional, statistical and information-technical capacity of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics”.

As reported in UNDP social networks, the purpose of the expert's visit is to review the software being developed for the Statistical Business Register for compliance with the requirements of the terms of reference.

During his visit, Mihail Kuzin met with specialists from the State Statistics Committee. Based on the results, the software was tested.

The development of software for the statistical business register will simplify the process of registering entrepreneurs, access and process data in an accelerated mode; will lead to an orderly accounting of legal entities in the future.

Recall that Mihail Kuzin came to Ashgabat at the beginning of the year. Then he also held a number of meetings with relevant specialists, and also provided recommendations for improving the software.
