Unofficial Turkic Council Summit to Gather in Shusha

An unofficial summit of heads of state of the Turkic Council will take place in July of this year in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha.

"We look forward to the upcoming unofficial summit of heads of state of the Turkic Council in Shusha next month," noted Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev of the Turkic Council in his congratulatory letter to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.

Omuraliev added that this summit will further strengthen our cooperation and shared vision for the future.

The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States wished the Head of State prosperity and success in all endeavors, and peace and prosperity to the fraternal people of Turkmenistan.

Member states of the organization include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. Hungary, Turkmenistan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are represented as observer members of the organization.
