High school students of the state boarding school for gifted children - Baygeldy Cholukov (10 class), ninth-graders Nurmurad Gadamov and Yazgeldy Mulliev deservedly presented our country at the International Olympiad in the exact sciences (mathematics, physics and chemistry) "Laboratory of Talent Training". They became owners of silver and two bronze medals respectively, as well as special diplomas.
Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, became the place of holding intellectual fights among young experts not older than 16 years. The Olympiad united 76 peers from eight countries - Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Turkmenistan, and Estonia.
Each participant had to solve ten tasks according to the conditions of the subject tours. The Turkmen participants successfully coped with the tasks, having won prizes.
Their instructor - mathematics teacher Arslan Hodjiev for high level of training of the team was awarded an honorary certificate.
A gift for all participants of the Olympiad was a visit to one of the state-of-the-art educational institutions of Baku - the oil and gas college, equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and multimedia technologies.
Young guests also visited the largest cultural and exhibition complex - Heydar Aliyev Center, made excursions to the sights of the Azerbaijani capital.
Arslan Hodjiev the head of the Turkmen team noted in the conversation that for his wards this is the first success of the international level. Students of this educational institution, as well as Turkmen schoolchildren in general, are increasingly becoming winners and prizewinners of international subject Olympiads, which testifies to the effectiveness of innovations in the educational sphere.
