On 28 June President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov met with the First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Board of the joint stock company “Uzbekiston temir yullari” Achilbay Ramatov.
The state information agency TDH reports that the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in trade and economy as well as transportation and communication areas.
Achilbay Ramatov also congratulated President Berdymukhammedov on his birthday.
Later that day in a telephone conversation President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who has already visited Turkmenistan three times, extended birthday greetings to his Turkmen counterpart.
