Veterans of the Great Patriotic War were congratulated in the Balkan velayat

In the Balkan velayat, on the eve of Victory Day, monetary and valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan were presented to veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 Orazkuli Muhammedov from the Kyzylarvat etrap and Ildar Vahidov from the coastal city of Hazar.

Orazkuli Muhammedov fought on the 1st Ukrainian Front, returned home, took an active part in the restoration of the national economy destroyed by the war. He has 4 sons, 5 daughters, 7 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ildar Vahidov went to war in 1943, fought in the 770th Infantry Regiment on the Trans-Baykal Front, and has awards, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
