The Pantone Color Institute has named its 2023 shade of the year Viva Magenta 18-1750, reports the Pantone website.
This color is a mixture of bright red, burgundy and purple. The staff of the Color Institute call it “boundless, bold and fearless”.
Pantone once called the color of the outgoing 2022 Very Peri - lilac with a slight grayish undertone, developed by the institute's specialists independently.
