Vogue: derby shoes are back at the peak of popularity

Fashion editors of the French version of Vogue predict a return of derby shoes to the women's wardrobe. This classic shoe model, characterized by open lacing and uppers sewn over the vamp, originally appeared in the XIX century as an element of the men's wardrobe, but over time was adapted for women's fashion. This is reported by Lenta.ru.

Today, derbies are experiencing a new wave of popularity, appearing in the collections of famous fashion houses, including Miu Miu. The trend is actively supported by models and influencers such as Kendall Jenner, Malika Loubach and Blanca Miró. They demonstrate a variety of styles, combining derbies with straight-leg cream trousers, flared pants, culottes, embroidered blouses, jackets and sweaters.
