“Wednesday” has officially been renewed for a second season

One of the most watched English-language TV shows at the moment - “Wednesday” has been renewed for a second season. Netflix announced this by releasing a short teaser for the sequel, writes “Poster Daily”.

The streaming service did not specify the approximate release date for the second season. “More suffering is coming”, reads the Netflix announcement.

The first season of the show was released on December 23, 2022. In December, “Wednesday” became the third series in Netflix history to surpass 1 billion hours watched in a month.

“Wednesday” received a “Golden Globe” nomination for “Best TV Series” (Musical or Comedy) and lead actress Jenna Ortega is nominated for “Best Actress in a Comedy Series”.
