Wednesday Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Liquefied Gas and Yarn

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Wednesday trades registered 6 deals for the procurement of liquefied gas and yarn for a total of nearly $3.77 million and more than 11.93 million manats.

The Afghan businesses procured 5,000 tons of liquefied gas. During the trades, the price of a ton of the fuel amounted to $485, according to the SCRMET.

An entrepreneur from Azerbaijan purchased more than 506 thousand kilograms of yarn at a price of $2.65 per kilogram.

The Emirati business purchased more than 272 thousand kilograms of yarn. The price of one kilogram of this product, sold at the auction, amounted to 43.75 manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $19.9 million.
