Who to follow at the 2023 World Kurash Championship in Ashgabat on November 28

Turkmenportal brings to your attention the announcement of the second day of the 2023 World Kurash Wrestling Championship in Ashgabat, where 28 sets of awards will be awarded.

The following will begin their performances in the men's national team of Turkmenistan: Vepa Ovlyakulyev (up to 60 kg), Dovlet Hamrakulyev (up to 66 kg), Shatlyk Jumaniyazov (up to 73 kg), Dayanch Omirov (up to 81 kg).

And the fight for medals in the women's team will be fought by: Sabina Kadyrova (up to 78 kg), Jahan Muhammedova (up to 87 kg), Sabina Agajanova (over 87 kg).

Competition schedule November 28:

• Preliminary tour from 10:00 to 13:00; • Semi-finals from 15:00 to 18:00; • Finals from 18:00 to 19:30; • Award ceremony 19:30 to 20:30; • Official closing ceremony 20:30 to 23:00.

Let us remind you that the 14th World Kurash Wrestling Championship is taking place from November 23 to 28 in Ashgabat. 243 kurash masters from 46 countries take part in the tournament. A total of 60 medals are up for grabs (15 gold, 15 silver and 30 bronze) in 7 men's and 8 women's weight categories.

The competitions take place on the territory of the Olympic village of Ashgabat. Watch live broadcasts of fights on the Turkmenistan Sport and Yashlyk TV channels.
