Turkmenistan plans to create football leagues for players under 15, under 16 and under 18. This decision was made at a meeting in the building of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the development of youth football in the country.
The event was attended by representatives of the Premier League, football schools of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan and the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports. During the meeting, various proposals for the development of youth football were discussed. Plans were proposed to create youth leagues that will begin operating from the 2025 football season.
The leadership of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan noted that large-scale work will be carried out in the near future to implement these plans.
