President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of the drug and other substances, which were seized from illicit trafficking, disposition complex as well as held offsite session of the State Security Council.
Outcomes of activity of military and law enforcement agencies of the country for11 months of 2020 have been summed up, issues of further provision of security and peace in the country, strengthening of equipment and facility base of security forces have been reviewed.
New complex, which is designated for disposition of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, which are seized from illicit trafficking, is located 100 km north from the capital.
Upon arrival, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch.Amanov has reported to Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on work carried out for the opening of new complex as well as on the process of burning of narcotic drugs and other substances seized during successful operations conducted by law enforcement and military agencies.
The facility has three furnaces of open and enclosed type. It is worth to mention that advanced technologies, which are used in this process, are the most effective and safe for people’s health and for ecology in general.
Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has thrown several bags of the contraband into the furnace, which was built according to international standards and which provides full destruction of narcotic drugs. Following the Leader of the Nation, the participants have also taken part in the action of burning of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
The actions for destruction of seized drugs are held in our country every year on June 26 on International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. This year, the event was organized on occasion of the opening ceremony of new complex.
After the action, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held an offsite session of the State Security Council.
Opening the session, the Head of Turkmenistan has noted that new complex, which is designated for disposition of narcotic drugs and other substances seized from illicit trafficking by the Ministry of Interior, was opened.
More than 122.5 kg of narcotic drugs have been destroyed by burning, which is in line with the principles of Turkmen people, who do not accept this poison, the Leader of the Nation noted.
Coming over to the review of the subjects of the agenda, the Head of Turkmenistan has given floor to Defense Minister B. Gundogdiyev who reported on work performed in the divisions of the Armed Forces for the period under review and fulfilment of instructions given by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Minister of Interior M. Chakiyev has reported on results of activity of his organization for January November, implementation of practical measures for provision of public order, prevention of crime and enhancement of fire safety in the country.
Further, the floor was given to Head of the State Border Guard Service Sh. Durdiyev who reported on work performed from the beginning of the year, steadfast measures for protection of sacred borders of beloved Motherland, modernization of equipment and facility base of the divisions under his command.
Chairman of the Supreme Court G. Halliyev has reported on fulfilment of the assignments given by the Head of the State, work carried out for 11 months of the year for bringing judicial system into compliance with universal law standards, making of proper conditions for efficient work of personnel.
Prosecutor General B. Atdayev has reported on the outcomes of activity the structure for the period under review, measures for monitoring of compliance with law in all spheres. Results of inspections carried out at the request of the Head of the State for execution of legal and normative acts have been as separate subject of the report.
Further, Minister of National Security G. Annayev has reported on results of activity of the Ministry for the period under review and measures for support of favorable public climate, which is an integral term for implementation of all planned reform programs.
Minister of Justice B. Muhamedov has reported on the measures undertaken in January November for improvement of legal base, in particular on development of new drafts of normative and legal acts, which are to support rapid achievement of great goals of the epoch of might and happiness.
Further, Chairman of the State Migration Service B. Ovezov made a report on the measures undertaken in the period under review. It was informed about fulfilment of the assignments given by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, in particular for improvement of professional level of personnel, making of proper conditions for fulfilment of given objectives.
Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Hudaykuliyev has reported on the outcomes of work for 11 months of the year in the structure under his supervision, fulfilment of the instructions given by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country for provision of proper customs control.
Listening to the reports, the President of Turkmenistan was addressing the heads of the ministries and departments with specific instructions related to training and improvement of qualification of personnel, implementation of modern technologies to all spheres of activity of the state, coordination of activity of all departments for successful implementation of defensive Military doctrine and plans of further development of the Armed Forces.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretary of the State Security Council Ch. Amanov has reported on realization of the military reform initiated by Head of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, measures for solution of social issues of military personnel and personnel of military and law enforcement agencies, improvement of personnel potential of National Army.
The Head of Turkmenistan said that it is necessary to hold timely and precise fulfilment of assignments by the structures under strict control, having given specific instructions to the Vice-premier, the Secretary of the State Security Council.
Other matters, on which relative decisions have been made, were reviewed at the session of the State Security Council.
In the end of the session, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished success in responsible service for further prosperity of the country and wealth of the people to all participants and left the place of event.
