In Italy, a 103 years old woman came to the attention of the police for driving at night without insurance and with an expired license. This was reported by “Mir 24” with reference to The Guardian.
Around 1am, police received a report of an “unsafe vehicle moving” in Bondeno town centre. Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene were surprised to find 103 years old Giuseppina Molinari driving, who, on her way to meet friends, got lost in the dark.
It turned out that Molinari's driver's license expired two years ago. In Italy, drivers over 80 years of age are required to undergo a medical examination every two years to confirm their ability to drive.
As a result, Giuseppina was fined and then given a ride home. Despite the incident, she said she intends to continue visiting friends in Bondeno, but this time by bike.
