15 manats retained from Ashgabat public sector employees and students for the needs of the Red Crescent Society

Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that 15 manats have been retained from October salaries of Ashgabat public sector employees as well students’ stipends for the needs of the Red Crescent Society.

It is unknown what the money will be spent on. Residents had not been warned about deductions in advance. They found out about this only when they tried to withdraw salaries credited to their bank cards.

Salary retentions for various events occur on a regular basis with the executives making a decision as to how much will be retained and how the funds will be used. The opinion of employees is not taken into account.

The Red Crescent Society holds annual events to hand over gifts to people with disabilities. The administration of the Society does not provide any financial reports detailing how the remaining funds are spent. The post 15 manats retained from Ashgabat public sector employees and students for the needs of the Red Crescent Society first appeared on Chronicles of Turkmenistan.
