2,12 million tons of oil produced in Turkmenistan

For 7 months of 2022, the State Concern Türkmennebit produced about 2 million 123 thousand tons of oil from industrially developed wells. The plan outlined for this period has been fulfilled by 101,1%, reports the electronic newspaper Nebit-gaz.

It was noted that the drilling department of the company has equipment that permits drilling to a depth of up to 7 kilometers.

This made it possible to successfully complete drilling operations and commission 5 production wells.

In January-July, wells were drilled at the Uzynada, Keymir, Ekerem, Demirgazyk and Goturdepe fields located in the Balkan province of Turkmenistan.

In mid-July, the Türkmennebit concern started drilling a super-deep well of 7,3 thousand meters in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea on the Uzynada area in order to expand its boundaries.
