Türkmennebit Produces Over 2.6 bcm of Natural Gas

Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, produced more than 2.61 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-July of 2022, fulfilling production plan for this period by 115.3%, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Tuesday.

The national oil producer of Turkmenistan, Türkmennebit, produced over 2.12 million tons of oil during the seven-month period, fulfilling the production plan by 101.1%.

In the first seven months of this year, the concern’s Nebitgazburawlaýyş trust developed and put into operation 20 wells, of which 19 are production wells.

According to the report, thanks to the effective use of modern technologies in the rich fields in Turkmenistan’s western province of Balkan, over the past seven months of this year, drilling operations have been successfully completed and five production wells have been put into operation.

At the Uzynada field, the development of well No. 77 with a design depth of 6,750 meters was successfully completed, where an industrial inflow of natural gas and oil condensate was obtained.

The new well was commissioned to the Gumdagnebit oil and gas production department.At present, its daily debit is 91 tons of oil and 75 thousand cubic meters of natural gas.
