Turkmenistan Extracts 9,709 Tons of Crude Oil From Repaired Wells

The Nebitgazçykaryş Trust of the Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern has repaired 84 oil wells instead of the planned 78 in the first two months of this year. As a result, additional 9,709 tons of oil were extracted from the repaired wells.

During the period, the Gumdagnebit oil and gas production department produced nearly 1.05 thousand tons of oil instead of the planned 322 tons, and the Gamyşlyjanebit oil and gas production department produced over 1.3 thousand tons of oil instead of the planned 352 tons, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Wednesday.

In 2020, as a result of the commissioning of restored unproductive wells, the Nebitgazçykaryş ensured an additional production of 300 thousand tons of crude.

As a result of exploration works of the Turkmennebit State Concern in January, new deposits of natural gas were discovered at the Uzynada area. From the 7 thousand meters of depth, Turkmennebit daily extracts 106 thousand cubic meters of gas and 143 tons of gas condensate.
