1.The ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition of scientific works among young people was held at the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.
This large-scale event, held annually on the occasion of the Day of Science, is jointly organized by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.
The competition was attended by employees of research institutes, departmental institutions and industrial associations of Turkmenistan, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, students of secondary vocational schools, as well as young people of various professions who are interested in scientific work.
Of the large number of applications registered for the competition, 67 scientific papers have won.
2.On June 12, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ashgabat hosted a reception on the occasion of the national holiday - the Day of Russia.Opening the reception, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin thanked the leadership of Turkmenistan for their careful attitude to the Russian language.
The diplomat noted that Russia highly appreciates the neutral status of Turkmenistan, its focus on the implementation of constructive initiatives, on reaching a compromise and developing cooperation between the countries.
According to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amannepesov, a high level of cooperation in all areas is noted in relations between the two countries.
The reception was attended by prominent representatives of business and public circles, the scientific and cultural community, the media, ambassadors and military attachés of foreign states and Russian compatriots.
3.As of the beginning of June 2023, the number of bank cards issued in Turkmenistan for the first five months of this year amounted to 136 959 units.
The market leader in terms of the number of active bank cards in Turkmenistan is “Daikhanbank”.The second place in this indicator is taken by the Bank “Turkmenistan”, the third - by “Halkbank”.
4.In Ashgabat, within the framework of the Week of Russian Cinema and Animation, the premiere screening of the film “Cheburashka” was held.The audience liked the film directed by Dmitry Dyachenko, the premiere gathered a full house.
