A charity auction was held in Minsk as part of the “Her Handiwork” project

In Minsk on October 12, the results of the charitable project of the Belarusian Women’s Union “Her Handiwork” took place, BELTA reported.

The purpose of this project was the stated opportunity for Belarusian women to show their creative abilities and demonstrate their achievements. The artistic works of the project participants were exhibited in the “Stolitsa” shopping center for a year, starting in the fall of 2022.

The project ended with a big charity evening with the sale of paintings that their creators donated to the Belarusian Women's Union. 16 paintings went under the hammer. Their authors are ordinary women, not professional artists; for them, painting is a hobby, not their main activity.

The proceeds from the sale of 17 thousand Belarusian rubles (more than 5 100 US dollars) will be used to help low-income large families and to treat children.
