A collection of amateur photos from the Titanic set is up for sale

The British company Henry Aldridge & Son of Devizes has put up for sale unique amateur photographs from the set of James Cameron's film Titanic, taken in 1996 in Mexico, where part of the filming took place, Voice writes.

The pictures captured the leading actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet in between takes. In one of them, Kate is wearing the same white life jacket that she wore at the end of the film, and DiCaprio is wearing an ordinary modern down jacket.

Other photos feature other actors, such as actress Frances Fisher as Rose's mother and actor Billy Zane as Rose's fiancé, as well as director James Cameron.

In total, the archive contains 44 photographs; they previously belonged to a British collector. The cost of a collection of amateur photographs about the history of the filming of the Titanic is estimated at 1 500 pounds sterling (more than 1 800 USD).
