The Dashoguz velayat library hosted a thematic conference on the occasion of the upcoming Week of Culture, the Day of Culture, Art and Poetry Workers of Mahtumkuli Fragi, according to the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The forum participants discussed the tasks of promoting the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, a wide range of issues related to the main directions of the development of national culture.
During the forum, issues of preparation for the upcoming jubilee in 2024 - the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Mahtumkuli Fragi - were also considered. Today, in the localities, purposeful work is underway to popularize the literary heritage of the outstanding classic of Turkmen literature, the speakers emphasized.
