A joint training was held for the port control groups of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan

First joint practical training was held for the groups of the port control of the Turkmen Customs Unit “Farap Avtoyollary” and the Uzbek Customs Unit “Alat”.

A training was organized within the framework of the UN International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Global Program (NLEA UN) and World Customs Organization Global Container Control Program.

During the training, which lasted for 4 days, the participants exchanged experiences in such areas as the fight against illegal trade and the use of a risk management system. They also got acquainted with the organization of work at customs posts and the work of the system of inspection and inspection complexes.

During the discussions, the issue of mutual exchange of information about high-risk goods was discussed.

Such joint activities contribute to the development of cooperation between the customs authorities of the parties, as well as contribute to the prevention of illegal trafficking of goods, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan reports on the website.

We remind that the groups of port control at the Turkmen Customs Unit “Farap Avtoyollary” and the Uzbek Customs Unit “Alat” were created in the beginning of the current year.
