Measures have been identified to increase the throughput capacity of customs posts on the Turkmen-Uzbek border.

Customs posts "Farap" and "Alat" will pass up to 1000 vehicles per day, which will prevent the formation of congestion. This decision was made by the participants of the meeting of the customs services of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, organized on Tuesday in the format of a videoconference.

In general, the parties assessed cooperation on this section of the border as stable, according to the website of the customs service of Turkmenistan.
