A meeting was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan with Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands

On March 18, 2026, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Turkmenistan (with residence in Astana) Nicolaas Schermers.

The interlocutors noted the significant potential for expanding mutually beneficial ties and expressed interest in intensifying contacts between relevant government agencies, business circles, and scientific and educational institutions of the two countries.

The need for joint work to strengthen the legal and contractual framework between the two countries was also emphasized.The importance of developing cooperation within international organizations and regional initiatives was also highlighted.
