On 5 October, pursuant to the decree issued by President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov Myratniyaz Berdyev was appointed Chairperson of the state commercial Daýhanbank.
Berdyev had previously occupied the position of the Chairperson of Turkmenistan’s Central Bank as well as the CEO of the Turkmen office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Let us remind that Polat Allagulyev, former Chairperson of Daýhanbank was dismissed on 7 September. Shamukhammet Nepesov was appointed as his replacement.
The President also relieved Serdar Gurbandurdyev of the post of Deputy Chairperson of the State Bank of Turkmenistan for Foreign Economic Affairs and Deputy Chairperson of Turkmenistan’s Office of the Asian Development Bank as he assumed a new post.
