A new enterprise for the production of steel pipes and profiles was commissioned in Turkmenistan

The solemn ceremony of commissioning a new enterprise for the production of steel pipes and profiles took place today in the Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat.

The opening of the facility was timed to coincide with the 16th anniversary of the creation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the MIC reports.

The new enterprise with an area of 5 hectares consists of a production department, warehouse and office buildings. Equipped with modern equipment and technology from Japan, Italy and Turkey, it has a capacity of 12 thousand tons of steel per year.

14 types of steel pipes and 13 types of profiles will be produced here, the raw materials for which will be supplied from Russia and Kazakhstan.

The opening of the new enterprise will create more than 70 jobs, contributing to the growth of the region’s economy and improving the well-being of its residents, the source notes.

We previously reported that a new sewage treatment plant was put into operation in Turkmenistan.
