The State Concern Turkmennebit has opened a new gas station along the ring road in the Ak Bugday district of Turkmenistan’s Ahal province, Watan habarlary reported Sunday.
The station is managed by the Ashgabat Administration of Gas Stations under the Main Directorate of Turkmennebitönümleri. Covering 1 hectare, it features 12 fuel dispensers and can serve up to 3,000 vehicles daily.
The station offers AI-95, AI-92 and AI-80 gasoline, as well as diesel fuel. Video surveillance and a centralized electronic accounting system are now in operation.
Equipped with modern fire safety systems, including alert and suppression mechanisms, hydrants and water reservoirs, the facility also provides staff with work and rest areas.
The opening coincides with Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers’ Day, observed annually in Turkmenistan on Dec. 14.
