A preparation of the Civil Registry Offices instructors has started in Turkmenistan

The trainings on preparation of instructors for the Civil Registry Offices of Turkmenistan (CRO) have started.

It is expected that trainers will learn the skills of family therapy, which includes teaching and counseling young couples on topics such as family values, promotion of positive social and family norms, gender equality, and reproductive rights.

As the “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” edition reports, such trainings has already been held in Mary velayat. The next is planned to be conducted in Lebap velayat.

The trainings are organized by the United Nations Population Fund Representative Office in Turkmenistan and the US Agency for International Development Government Support Program (USAID).
