On 9 August 2018 Sabir Rizayev, a musician, clarinet and saxophone player, arranger, honoured artist of Turkmenistan died in Ashgabat aged 59, the news outlet “Gundogar” reported.
Throughout his career Sabir Rizayev performed as part of the musical bands “Firyuza”, “Gunesh” and “Ashgabat” and taught at the Turkmen National Academy of Music.
