In Ashgabat, in the building of the OSCE Center, a two-day training seminar is being held on the topic “Creating press services of public authorities and organizing their work”.
As the IIC reports with reference to SalamNews, the seminar is organized in a hybrid format. The purpose of the seminar is to improve the professional competencies of press services of government agencies and other organizations, as well as to promote the development of the media sector in Turkmenistan.
Among the participants are representatives of state and private media, employees of press services of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, as well as teachers from universities involved in training journalists.
The seminar is conducted by experts Zivile Navickaite-Babkin and Dainius Radzevicius from Lithuania, the source notes.
