The team of the Innovative Scientific and Educational Center of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas prepared the textbook “Environmental Safety” in order to familiarize with the concepts of pollutants and the possibility of processing emissions from anthropogenic activities and their safe disposal.
The book provides instructions for developing design solutions related to the modernization of technological equipment.
This textbook is a continuation of active efforts to train specialists in the issue of environmental safety. Since 2023, for the first time in the country, the University Center has been holding classes for students, trainees and engineering specialists in this area.
The program, approved by the country’s Ministry of Education, is based on the training of specialists in the oil and gas complex and geology, in the production of petroleum products, the operation of oil refining facilities, and the production of liquefied natural gas.
As the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports, as a result, students increase their level of knowledge in assessing the level of impact on the natural environment, justifying the implementation of emissions and waste treatment, performing engineering and economic calculations using scientific, information and regulatory data when solving production problems, verification of design solutions when locating industrial facilities.
The center is involved in solving scientific and technical problems, expanding the use in production of innovations developed by universities, and developing new types of scientific and technical cooperation with enterprises in economic sectors.
The concept of ecoculture is also enriched by the introduction of a subject course “Fundamentals of Professional Culture of Engineers” for advanced training of specialists.
Following the focus of the state and society on strengthening the role of youth in the economy and social processes of society, the Center concentrated on additional training of young personnel, bringing to the implementation of projects authored by students and teachers of engineering universities.
