Five years have passed since the commissioning of the Abadan Haly Open Joint-Stock Company’s carpet production complex in Buzmeyin etrap of Turkmenistan’s capital of Ashgabat. The opening ceremony of the complex was held with the participation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in February 2016.
In an interview with Business Turkmenistan, the company’s specialist Bayram Yovjanov said the annual production capacity of the enterprise currently stands at 3 million square meters of carpets and floor coverings, adding that the production facility employs 700 people.
The company purchases necessary raw materials mainly from the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. The carpet production complex has three workshops and several sections.
Abadan Haly is the largest manufacturer of different types of high quality and durable carpets and floor coverings in Turkmenistan.The design department of the company develops patterns of carpets depicting various national ornaments called göl, portraits and landscapes.
Based on these patterns, the factory produces wide range of carpets, including Abadan, Sähra, Tolkun and Kümüş, which are in high demand among customers.
The private company’s carpet and polypropylene yarn products are exported to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey. The company is currently holding negotiations to establish trade cooperation with Russia, Europe and the Middle East.
Abadan Haly also exhibited its products at several major exhibitions, including at the international exhibition in Kazakhstan, at the DOMOTEX in Turkey and INDEX in Dubai.
The participants of the exhibition of innovative technologies, organized within the framework of the First Caspian Economic Forum held in Avaza, Turkmenbashi on August 11-12, 2019, highly appreciated the high quality of the company's products. The plant is certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Abadan Haly OJSC also participates in Central Asia - Virtual EXPO (CAVEX) organized by the Japan Association for Trade with Russia and New Independent States from February 1 to 26. At the virtual stand, the company presents its carpet products manufactured with high-quality polypropylene yarn.
