The Akimat of Astana has decided to bring all signs in the capital to a single style, reports the “MIR 24” portal.
The changes are carried out within the framework of the implementation of the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, to strengthen control over the placement of street advertising. According to the new rules, the color of signage must match the color of the facade of the building and not be conspicuous.
Also important is the symmetry in the placement of advertising signs and inscriptions and the restraint of the color scheme - according to experts in the field of urban studies, this will visually expand the streets.
For businessmen, the procedure for replacing signs is free, and there are no penalties yet. You have 10 days to reinstall the signs.
